Chasing Thorn centres around a struggling author and her quest to write a best-selling hit. While attempting to do so, her concentration is interrupted by Rockin’ Pink Pat, an eighty-year-old granny who is hollering rock tunes next door. Somewhere in-between introducing her to her blanket filled with teddy bears, and singing her her latest hit, she informs the frustrated writer that there’s a story out there with her name on it; but before she can write it, she must enter IMAURA- a placeless place that only children know the way to.

But there are forces at play who wish to stop her book from coming about: the Central Imagination Assassins- a team of experts deployed to stop children from dreaming.

As she races to finish her book, she faces a choice: stand up against these dream-crushing villains, or return to her boring life?
